An urgent home for Pantufa ADOPTED

Pantufa was caught from the colony of street cats to be neutered. Imagine our surprise to find out that she was already sterilised.

She is a gentle and sweet cat. She had a home one day, she was sterilised and then someone abandoned her in the colony of street cats, for a reason that we cannot understand ....

Pantufa is now living in a cage because we have no cattery in the shelter and because our foster families have homes already full of cats for adoption.

It would be a miracle if someone adopt ed Pantufa. But a miracle we hope for.

Please, let the miracle happen this Christmas and offer a home to Pantufa.

Karl (adopted!)

Karl was found abandoned on the road. We noticed from the beginning that his back legs were a bit bent when he walked but we thought that maybe he had spent long time on a short chain, always sitted and he just needed a bit of exercise. We took him to the shelter, a few weeks passed and he did not get any better. On the 15th of December we took him to the vet. The vet diagnosed that he had problems with knee caps, they grow to the outside like in rabbits. Karl needs to have them both operated, each leg one by one.
This is why we are asking for support to pay the two surgeries.
Karl is a sweet little doggy of 2 years, he will certainly find a home in the future but he needs to undergo those operations first. We count on our friends to help us as they often do.

Campaign at Fertagus stations

We are doing an information campaign at the stations of Fertagus train, the suburbuan train that goes from Lisbon to our area, the south of Lisbon. Our volunteers are present at the stations distributing leaflets of Bianca and talking to people. They have a folder with pictures of our dogs and sometimes they also have one or two puppies or kittens with them.

Those are the campaign days (always between 17 and 20h, when people come back from work):

COINA station — 2 and 3/12
FOGUETEIRO station — 4 and 5/12
FOROS DE AMORA station — 9 and 10/12
CORROIOS station — 11 and 12/12
PRAGAL station — 15, 16 and 17/12
