The competition was independently judged by Peter and Sandra Stephen, former Lord and Lady Provost of the City of Aberdeen, who are dog owners but have no direct association with the Friends of Bianca charity. To ensure fairness they received only the photos with a code number and no information on the dog or owner's name. Many thanks to both Peter and Sandra for undertaking what they described as an extremeley difficult task with so many appealing dogs to chose from.
