Bianca needs to plant trees in its shelter. A big part of the shelter does not have a shade. With the summer heat the presence of trees is fundamental. Moreover, around the shelter there are pine trees and a few more pine trees inside. They are dangerous. They harbour processionary caterpillars which are a plague of pine trees in Portugal.
In February last year three dogs were smelling and biting the caterpillars which are poisonous and they neraly died. One of them, Jeli, lost a part of his tongue.
We need to have the pine trees cut and new trees planted. Little by little, we need to start replacing pines with new trees. Even if they will take time to grow, the sooner we start the better.
So hereby we make an appeal if anyone would like to offer big or small trees that we could plant.
