Bowie in pain and suffering

Bowie was rescued on November the 6th after being seen on the streets for over two months. He was circulating there and there but was too scared to approach people. Finally we manage to catch him - he was so hungry that a piece of ham broke his fear and we put collar and leash on him in the meantime.
He has a skin infection, mange (sarna in portuguese) and this is very incomfortable and painful for him, he cannot stop scratching himself.
We already started the treatment of sarna: he is taking antibiotics: ivomec and atarax.
He is very sweet, a little scared of people but already this is passing, we can pet him and he accepts it gratefully. He is a sweet and gentle dog.
