Bica hit by a car

Bica was found on the side of the road to Sesimbra, laying and not moving. She had been hit by a car. Two of our volunteers stopped and put her into the car. without moving. Then she was taken to the vet. Her hip was broken in two places.


A few months back, we had captured 8 puppies of her aged 6 weeks near Sesimbra. But we were not able to catch the mother. She was very afraid of people, simply panicked. Now, with her hip broken and in pain she let us do everything, put her in the car, move her around in the vet, she did not even try to bite.
We hope Bica recovers completely and soon.
