We are doing another Adoption Fair: saturday, 30/8, between 10 and 18, usual place: passing the Carrasqueria-Sesimbra roundabout with Pingo Doce and SuperSol, on N378.
Last adoption fair went very well. We had 16 dogs adopted! Imagine that. It was unusual. Normally it is between 2 and 5. We have high hopes that this coming Fair is going to be equally successful (especially that since then 7 new animals entered the shelter). We want to take more dogs with us, we want to take adult dogs on the leash....
Please pass the information about the fait to people that may adopt animals. If you don't want to adopt, you can help us with other things: fostering an animal (the concept is explained on our webpage), buying us food for puppies, giving us medications (list of medications we use is on the webpage). And most important - you can come on the day of the Fair and help us. We want to take more dogs so we need people to have them on leashes, walk with them...
We will also have cats and kittens.
