the abandonment of animals is a problem all year round, but especially at this time of the year, holidays approaching, it is a very serious problem. People want to go on holiday and they realise that the dog that they bought for their children for Christmas is now an obstacle for the holiday planning.
So they abandon it on the street or at the door of the kennel during the night.
And we already have in Bianca over 200 animals waiting for a new home! Puppies and kittens, adult dogs and adult cats.
Who wants to protect the animals, never has any rest. We organise our Adoption Fairs nearly every week now, we have so many animals and we lack space.
Saturday, 28th of June we will organise another Adoption Fair. As usually it will take place between 11 and 17.30 in Carrasqueira-Sesimbra, on the national road 378, passing the round-abour with Pingo Doce (before Plus) and SuperSol supermarkets.
All out animals are vaccinated and have chips. All adult females are sterilised.
We don't have any more space to put the sick animals, no more place for puppies and kittens. Help us by adopting one animal.
If you cannot adopt, you can always foster one.
We also need medications, antibiotics (amoxicilina + ácido clavulânico, alsir, clavamox..... legalon, lasix, fortekor ou outro), covers and blankets, internal and external desparatisites, food for dogs and cats and voluntary help.
